Who we are
Santa Clarita Gate Installation is a referral service. We connect homeowners in and around Santa Clarita with one licensed gate installer. We do not install or repair gates ourselves, and the site has no tie to the City of Santa Clarita.
What we collect
When you send the request form, we receive what you type or choose on it:
- your name, phone number and, if you give it, your email address;
- the details of the job: the kind of gate, the metal, how it opens, the area, the ground, whether an oak is nearby, the opening width and any notes;
- any photos you attach.
Photos taken on a phone can carry hidden information, such as the place and time they were taken. We pass photos on as you send them, so if you would rather not share that, remove it before uploading or send a screenshot of the photo instead.
The form also records when the page was opened, which helps us turn away automated spam. It is not linked to you in any other way.
If you call the number on this site, the call goes to the installer. If that number is a forwarding number, the service that forwards it keeps a log of the calling number, the time and the length of the call.
What happens when you browse
The site is served by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, handles your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. The fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser also contacts Google when a page opens. The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or tracking scripts. It does not follow you across other sites, so it has nothing to change when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Who receives your request
Your request is sent by email, through the email delivery service Resend, to one licensed gate installer, so they can contact you about the job you described. The installer receives everything on the form, including your photos. We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone else for marketing.
A court order, subpoena or similar legal demand could also require us to hand information over.
How long requests are kept
So that a request is never lost if an email fails, the site keeps a backup copy of it, photos included, in Cloudflare's storage for 90 days, and then it is deleted automatically. The email that delivers it is kept by the people who receive it for as long as they need it to handle your job and their records. The email delivery service keeps its own delivery logs under its own policy.
Your choices
You can use the whole site without sending the form. If you have sent a request and want to see what was sent, correct it or ask for it to be deleted, email hello@santaclaritagateinstallation.com and we will pass the request to the installer as well. You can also tell the installer directly on the phone that you no longer want to be contacted.
Children
The site is written for grown homeowners planning a gate for their own lot. Children are not its audience, and we never knowingly take their details.
Changes to this policy
If what the site collects or who receives it changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
